Not everyone is born with skis on their feet. Therefore we have snowshoes with which you can "take a hike" on snow. It is suitable for mountain walks and hikes in the lowland of Lofoten.
On our guided hikes we use light TUBB snowshoes that are easy to step into, walk with, have good foot movement and grip for hard surfaces.
We also use out telescopic poles for easier hiking. Our trips are made for you; depending on your physical condition and the weather of the day.
This is why we only offer both daytrips (5-6 hours) and ½-day trips (3-4 hours).
You should outdoor shoes doing snowshoeing, a good hiking boot will keep your feet warm and comfortable. BUT our winter is mild so "Canada-style" -30°C boots are too much.
Bring a small day backpack or rent one from us; for snacks, drinks, a warm seat and some extra clothing for your hike.
On our evening or night hikes to see the Northern Lights; please bring extra "stand still clothes" to enjoy the experience.
On our guided hikes, our guides go out with up to 15 people per guide and maximum 25 people per trip. Please contact us for further information.
